member may purchase a kit for a nominal fee. The blocks are available

Swanson's Lecture April 19, 2010: YOUR QUILT IS NOT
FINISHED UNTIL THE LABEL IS ATTACHED INFORMATION THAT SHOULD APPEAR ON THE LABEL. 1. Name of the quilt. 2. Who made the quilt. 3. Where and when it was made. 4. Name of person made for (if applicable). 5. Size. 6. Name of pattern (as you know it. If made from a book, give name of book). 7. Who quilted it. (give credit, where credit is due!) Also, it is a good idea to place your name, phone, & address on the inside area to be covered by the binding. That way if a label is removed from a stolen quilt, you can still prove that it is yours. Then secure the binding as normal. You can use a permanent Pigma Pen to write with. |
